INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 250g skinless chicken thigh
- 1 large lotus root, peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 0.5 tsp cornstarch
Seasoning Mix
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp mirin
- 1.5 tbsp black vinegar

ÉTAPES
Peel and slice the lotus root diagonally, then rinse with water.
Trim the chicken thigh by removing skin and yellow fat, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
Heat vegetable oil in a small pan over medium heat, then add the chicken. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the surface loses its redness.
Add the lotus root to the pan and stir-fry over medium heat until it releases a bit of moisture.
Pour in the pre-mixed seasoning ingredients and continue stir-frying over medium-high heat until the flavors are absorbed.
Once the liquid reduces and the pan bottom becomes visible, mix 1 tsp water with cornstarch and add to the pan for thickness.
