Main Ingredients
- 1 piece boiled pork
- 🧅 1/2 onion
Seasoning
- 💧 1 paper cup water
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp tsuyu
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
ÉTAPES
Slice the boiled pork into bite-sized pieces.
Slice half an onion and set aside.
Mix all seasoning ingredients except corn syrup in a pot.
Place the pot on medium heat and add the sliced onion.
Once the sauce boils and the onion turns brown, reduce to medium heat.
Add the sliced pork to the pot and simmer on medium heat.
Simmer until the sauce is almost gone, then add 1 tbsp corn syrup for a glossy finish.
Prepare a bowl of rice and place the glazed pork on top.
Add the cooked onion and garnish with boiled egg and chopped green onions.
