- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 10cm radish
- 1 red chili
- 1 green chili
- 💧 300ml water
Seasoning Ingredients

- 10 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Clean the flounders thoroughly and make diagonal cuts to help the seasoning penetrate.
Cut the radish into bite-sized pieces. Prepare the green onion, onion, red chili, and green chili by slicing them into suitable sizes.
Mix chili powder, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a bowl to create the seasoning sauce.
Place the radish slices at the bottom of a pot. Add 300ml water, then layer the flounders on top and pour the seasoning sauce over them.
Cook on medium-low heat until the radish and flounders are partially cooked. Add minced garlic, onion, and green onion.
Cover the pot and simmer until the radish and flounders are fully cooked. Occasionally baste the fish with the broth.
Add the red and green chilies and simmer briefly until they soften. Turn off the heat.
Serve the braised flounder with steamed rice, pouring the flavorful broth over the rice for added taste.
