    • 🍜 500 won coin-sized portion of somyeon
  • Kimchi

    • 🥬 2/3 paper cup kimchi with juice
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp gochujang
    • 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 🍶 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 🌰 A sprinkle of sesame seeds

Boil somyeon in rapidly boiling water. When it starts bubbling, pour 1 cup of cold water. Repeat once more and turn off the heat.

Rinse the cooked somyeon in cold water.

While cooking the noodles, mix all seasoning ingredients except sesame seeds.

Combine the cooked noodles with the prepared sauce and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle sesame seeds and garnish with cucumber, boiled egg, or other toppings as desired.
