    • 20g dried seaweed
    • 2 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1.2L rice water
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp fish sauce
    • 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
    • 🧂 A pinch of salt

Soak the dried seaweed in water for 10–15 minutes until it expands. Rinse and drain well.

Pat the beef dry with a paper towel to remove excess blood. Heat sesame oil in a pot and sauté the beef over medium heat.

Add minced garlic to the pot and continue sautéing until fragrant.

Add the soaked seaweed and soy sauce to the pot. Stir and sauté together for a few minutes.

Pour in the rice water and bring the soup to a boil.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 15–20 minutes.

Season the soup with fish sauce and salt to taste.
