- 🦑 2 squids
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🥕 1/2 carrot
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 handful green onion
- 1 cup cabbage
- 2 chili peppers
Seasonings
- 🧂 1.5 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 💧 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Clean the squid and score the back with a knife.
Slice the green onion, carrot, and onion. Optionally prepare cabbage.
Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan and sauté the green onion to make green onion oil.
Add the squid to the pan and stir-fry until slightly cooked.
Add 1.5 tbsp sugar and stir-fry to caramelize the squid.
Add 1 tbsp minced garlic and 1 tbsp gochujang, stirring well.
Pour in 1/2 cup water, 3 tbsp chili powder, and 4 tbsp soy sauce. Adjust soy sauce based on cabbage usage.
Add the vegetables and stir-fry until they soften and release moisture.
Reduce heat to low and add 1 tbsp sesame oil.
Sprinkle 1 tbsp sesame seeds and stir briefly before serving.
