Vegetables
- 600g kimchi
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, chopped
- 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
Meat
- 300g pork belly
Seasonings
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1.5 tbsp chili powder
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 100ml water
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
ÉTAPES
Chop the onion and green onion into small pieces. Optionally, add other vegetables like carrots or mushrooms.
Cut the kimchi into bite-sized pieces, including its seasoning, and set aside.
Pan-fry the pork belly until golden brown on one side to enhance texture.
Add 1/2 tbsp sugar and 100ml water to the pork and simmer until the sweetness infuses into the meat.
Mix in 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1.5 tbsp chili powder, and 3 tbsp soy sauce. Stir well to coat the pork evenly.
Add the chopped kimchi to the pan and stir-fry until the kimchi softens and absorbs the flavors.
Add the chopped onion and green onion to the pan and stir-fry briefly until softened.
Finish with 1 tbsp sesame oil for a fragrant touch.
Blanch the tofu in hot water with 1 tbsp sesame oil, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
