ZUTATEN
Vegetables
- 550g radish, diced
- 450g beet, diced
- 🥒 3 cucumbers, sliced
- 4 chili peppers, sliced
Spices and Seasonings
- 1 tbsp pickling spice
- 🧂 2 tbsp coarse salt
- 🍬 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups vinegar
- 💧 3 cups water
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 stick cinnamon
SCHRITTE
Slice cucumbers into bite-sized pieces.
Dice radish into cubes; size and shape are not critical.
Slice chili peppers thinly.
Dice beet into cubes, similar to radish.
Combine sugar, vinegar, water, coarse salt, pickling spice, bay leaves, and cinnamon in a pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn off the heat.
Pour the hot mixture over the prepared vegetables in a large container.
Cover the container and let it sit at room temperature for 6 hours.
Transfer the pickled vegetables to jars and refrigerate.
