Stir-fried Anchovies and Barley Shrimp

    • 🐟 50g dried anchovies
    • 🦐 50g barley shrimp
  • Seasonings

    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 2/3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 4 tbsp cooking wine
    • 2 tsp sesame oil
    • 4 tbsp corn syrup
    • 🌰 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Measure 50g of dried anchovies and barley shrimp using a small bowl.

Heat a pan and dry-fry the anchovies over low heat for 1-2 minutes until crispy.

Place the fried anchovies in a sieve and shake off any crumbs.

Repeat the same process for the barley shrimp and shake off crumbs.

Clean the pan with a paper towel to remove any residue.

Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in the pan and sauté minced garlic over low heat.

Turn off the heat and add the anchovies and barley shrimp to the pan.

Add 2/3 tbsp soy sauce and 4 tbsp cooking wine, then stir-fry over medium heat for 1.5 minutes.

Turn off the heat and mix in 2 tsp sesame oil.

Add 4 tbsp corn syrup and 1 tbsp sesame seeds, then mix thoroughly.
