    • 200g pork shoulder
    • 🧅 1/2 onion, diced
    • 🧄 5 cloves garlic
    • 🧅 1 stalk green onion, chopped
    • 1/2 red chili, sliced
    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • A pinch of black pepper
    • 1/2 head napa cabbage, washed and cut
  • Seasoning

    • 3 tsp doenjang (fermented soybean paste)
    • 1 tsp cooking wine
    • 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
    • 0.5 tsp minced ginger
    • A pinch of sesame seeds
    • 2 tsp chili powder

Dice the pork shoulder into small cubes.

Slice the red chili and chop the green onion finely.

Dice the onion or substitute with sliced garlic if preferred.

Wash the napa cabbage and cut it into thirds.

Prepare the seasoning paste by mixing doenjang, cooking wine, minced garlic, minced ginger, chili powder, and sesame seeds.

In a deep pan, stir-fry the pork shoulder and onion (or garlic) over high heat.

Add soy sauce and black pepper to season the pork.

Once the pork is cooked, add the napa cabbage to the pan.

Pour the prepared seasoning paste and 1 cup of water into the pan.

Simmer until the pork and cabbage are tender and the liquid has reduced.

Reduce the heat, add the green onion and red chili, and stir.

Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with additional green onion if desired.
