    • 🦑 1 squid, sliced into rings

    • 🥚 1 egg
    • 🧅 1/2 green onion, chopped
    • 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
    • 🥕 1/3 carrot, chopped
    • 1 tbsp curry powder
    • 🧂 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • Pinch of pepper
    • Cooking oil for frying
    • Starch or flour for coating

Prepare all ingredients by chopping vegetables and slicing the squid into rings.

Blanch the squid rings in boiling water for 1 minute, then drain and set aside.

Mix cooked rice, chopped vegetables, squid tentacles, curry powder, egg, salt, pepper, sesame oil, and starch in a bowl.

Coat the inside of the squid rings lightly with starch to prevent the filling from falling out.

Heat a pan with cooking oil and place the squid rings on it. Fill each ring with the curry rice mixture using a spoon.

Pan-fry the squid rings until golden brown on both sides.

Use any leftover curry rice mixture to make plain curry rice pancakes by frying them until golden brown.
