ZUTATEN
- Seafood - 🦐 180g peeled shrimp
 
- Herbs - 6 shiso leaves
 
- Dairy - 🧀 3 slices of cheese
 
- Wrapper - 6 spring roll wrappers
 
- Seasoning - 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
 
- Oil - Enough salad oil for frying
 
- Binder - 1 tbsp flour
- 💧 1 tbsp water
 
SCHRITTE
Trim the stems off the shiso leaves.
Cut the cheese slices in half.
Remove the vein from the shrimp, wash them, pat dry, and chop into 1cm pieces. Season with salt and pepper and lightly mash with a knife.
Place a spring roll wrapper with a corner facing down. Add 1 shiso leaf, half a cheese slice, and 1/6 of the shrimp mixture. Roll tightly and seal the edge with the flour-water mixture. Repeat for all wrappers.
Heat about 2cm of salad oil in a pan to 170°C. Fry the rolls seam-side down for 2 minutes, then flip and fry for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
