Dry Ingredients
- 420g cake flour
- 10g baking powder
- 🧂 200g sugar
Wet Ingredients
- 🧈 200g butter
- 43g heavy cream
- 🥚 4 eggs
- 🥛 30g milk
Optional Add-ins
- 🌰 Handful of walnuts
- 🌰 Handful of almonds
- Handful of raisins
SCHRITTE
Bring butter, eggs, and milk to room temperature. Sift cake flour and baking powder twice.
Whip butter until creamy.
Gradually add sugar in three portions while whipping the butter.
Add eggs one at a time and whip. Then add heavy cream.
Add sifted flour in three portions and mix. Add milk and combine.
Fold in nuts and raisins.
Prepare pound cake tins with parchment paper and pour the batter.
Top with additional nuts.
Bake at 170°C for 25 minutes, then reduce to 160°C and bake for another 20 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
