Seasonings
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🧄 A small amount of minced garlic
SCHRITTE
Remove tendons from the beef and slice it into bite-sized pieces. Slice the onion evenly, not too thin.
Torch the surface of the onion lightly to remove moisture and enhance sweetness.
Coat the beef lightly with potato starch to retain juices and enhance flavor absorption.
Cook the beef on low heat until one side turns brown.
Add sake and mirin to the pan and cook until the alcohol evaporates.
Add the torched onion, brown sugar, soy sauce, and oyster sauce to the pan. Simmer on low heat.
