ZUTATEN
Vegetables
- 🧅 220g green onions
Seasoning
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp perilla oil
- 1 tbsp ground sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp plum extract
SCHRITTE
Prepare the green onions by trimming the ends and cutting them into manageable lengths.
Blanch the green onions in boiling water with 1 tbsp salt, starting with the thicker stems. Remove the leafy parts after 30 seconds to avoid overcooking.
Rinse the blanched green onions 2-3 times in cold water and squeeze out excess moisture. Cut them into 4-5 sections for easier consumption.
Mix the seasoning ingredients: gochujang, chili powder, garlic, perilla oil, plum extract, and ground sesame seeds.
Combine the green onions with the seasoning and mix well until evenly coated. Taste and adjust seasoning with more gochujang or salt if needed.
Serve and enjoy your seasoned green onion namul.
