Bacon and Green Onion Fried Rice

  • Main Ingredients

    • 🥓 3 strips bacon
    • 🥕 1 piece carrot
    • 🥚 2 eggs
    • 🍚 2 cups cooked rice
    • 🧅 1 stalk green onion
  • Seasonings

    • 4 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp chili powder
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

SCHRITTE

Chop the green onion into small pieces.

Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces.

Dice the carrot finely and stir-fry it with the bacon.

Push the bacon and carrot to the side of the pan and scramble 2 eggs in the center.

Turn off the heat and add 2 cups of cooked rice to the pan.

Add 2 tbsp soy sauce to the rice and mix evenly.

Combine all the ingredients in the pan and push them to one side.

Add sesame oil to the empty side of the pan and stir-fry the green onion.

Add 1 tbsp chili powder and 1 tbsp soy sauce to the green onion and stir-fry over medium heat.

Turn off the heat and drizzle 1 tbsp soy sauce and sesame oil over the fried rice.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve.
